Rajyogini B.K. Shukla Behn, National Co-ordinator, Security Service Wing, New Delhi, offering her inspirations, said, ‘’Value-based life is the best life, which is liked and appreciated by all. One can make progress in life if one does every work with firm faith in God. Value and spiritual education can purify human mind, build character, empower the self and enable one to lead life with a code of good conduct. The cardinal Indian values like renunciation, service, tolerance, sweetness, truth, peace, compassion, non-violence, etc. are invaluable assets of life. But, today, these are not found in our society, because students and people are running after the mirage of material pursuits. I hope this education will guide them to the right path and enable them to link with the self and connect with the Supreme Self, and also empower them with spirituality to face the challenges of life squarely and successfully.’’ She thanked Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, Director, AICTE, New Delhi, for making an unprecedented noble attempt at introducing value and spiritual education by signing an MoU with Education Wing(RERF) in this regard.
Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, Director, AICTE, New Delhi, said, ‘’I am very much impressed and enlightened by the spiritual impact of the Brahma Kumaris Organization. When I visited here for the first time, I went with the thought and resolution of spreading this value and spiritual education. This thought enabled me to get the President’s award. I was instrumental by HRD Ministry for forming the website: www.swayam.gov, which was launched on March 21, 2016 for imparting education to young aspiring according to the choice based credit system (CBCS). Highlighting the significance of value and spiritual education of the institution, he said that when you go away from this place, the silence and glaze on your face will tell people where you are coming from. There is one condition which is that when you open the website, you have to maintain the spiritual atmosphere of this place at your home. This site will provide you with reading, listening and seeing course materials.’’
B.K. Nirwair, Secretary General, Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu, sharing his own personal experience, said, ‘’Even after getting material education as an electronic engineer in Indian Navy, I felt there is something lacking in my life; and I was then in search of values and spirituality. The knowledge of self-realization was written in many books, but the ‘way’ of self-realization and God-realization was taught only by the Supreme Soul, God Father Shiva, through which one’s mind can be linked to Him. I got this knowledge here in this institution, and the extent of my inner peace and bliss went on increasing every day. The more you share this spiritual knowledge, the more it will increase. I offer my thanks to Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, who is instrumental in spreading far and wide this value-based spiritual knowledge, which is a fine blend of science and spirituality.‘’
