The Ambassador of India Visits Bali


The newly appointed Ambassador of India to Indonesia, H.E. Pradeep Kumar Rawat, visited Bali for the first time on 20 December 2017. Many VIPs and people of Indian origin were gathered to meet him at local restaurant, The Queen’s in Denpasar. It was a warm meeting where everyone introduced themselves to the Ambassador. HE. RO Sunil Baba gave a welcome speech. The Ambassador also gave a speech. He said that he was happy to see the Indians working closely with the Indonesian people. He also said that the media blows up news that are actually trivial  and he hoped that the Indian Community will not really believe all that they read in the media. He was also happy that Indians in Bali came forward to help the victims of Mount Agung who were trapped for 2 days at the International Airport of Bali. He inspired those gathered to make continued effort to bring closer ties between the 2 countries.
