Brahma Kumaris Centre in Moscow Organises the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Moscow(Russia): On the World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims, the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Moscow organized a public program on the topic  “Protect Life. It is invaluable”.

Sister BK Sudha, Director of the BK Centre in Moscow, sent words of greetings to all the participants: “Everyone should realize that road safety starts with each one of us. The spiritual power of an individual is reflected in inner stability during critical situations and how much peace and benevolence we share with others. We can and should learn these values, which are taught at the Spiritual University. Politeness and humanity, ability to control one’s thoughts and emotions, self-respect and mutual help must become a norm on the roads. This is not only the question of culture but also the guarantee of safety. The choice of benevolent attitude on the road is the choice of life”.

The special guests of the program were: Mr. Yury Gayko, honoured journalist of Russia, organizer of two world car rallies; Mr. Pavel Soskov, coordinator of the Volunteer programme of help on the roads “MOTOCITIZEN”; Mrs. Ekaterina Desyatova, leader of the Volunteer programme of help on the roads; and Mr. Sergey Lobarev, President of the All-National Union “Guild of Driving Schools of Russia”.
