The Sindhi Society honoured Brahma Kumaris Chief Dadi Janki
Devoting life to the service of the people is the greatest honour: Dadi Janki
Abu Road, April 30, 2017: The Sindhi Society of Abu Road honoured the 102-year Dadi Janki, the Chief of Brahma Kumaris Organisation by offering the Citation sheet to her in a special meet organised in the Shantivan Complex in which Shri Rahandamal, the President of the Society, Mohan C. Jhamnani, Secretary of the Society and other officers & dignitaries of the Society were present. A few days earlier, Dadi Janki was awarded with the International Mother Teresa Social Service Award by the International Human Rights Organisation.
On this occasion, Dadi ji said, “If the whole life of human being is devoted to the welfare of the people, there is no bigger award than this. We should try our level best that our life gets devoted for the well-being of the people. There is no greater virtue and happiness than this. Because God helps him who helps others. It is for this reason only that the B K Institution has spread throughout the world. This honour, which the Sindhi Society has offered to me, is the honour to God and to the common people. Through this a good message will go to the society. For this, I am grateful to the Sindhi Society.
In this Program, the President of the Sindhi Panchayat Shri Rahandamal said, “It is a matter of glory for us that there is an International Organisation, the Chief of which is Dadi Janki, who is the glory/prestige of the Sindhi Society. Due to her noble association with people, values are being transmitted to the people of the whole world.
On this occasion, Dadi Ratan Mohini, the Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris, said, “We all are children of the same one Supreme Soul, and are mutually spiritual brothers. So, we have to collectively build a good society, and, in this way, we can do good to others. The Secretary of Sindhi Panchayat, Shri Jhamnani, Kamla Panjwani and others also expressed their views in this program. They have agreed to make Dadi Janki as the patron of Sindhi Panchayat, and all present there supported this with joy and happiness.
