New Delhi, 28th July: National Conference on ‘New Education for New India’ is being organised by International Educational and Socio-spiritual Organisation, Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, through its Education Wing in association with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India on 29th July, 2019 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, 15 Janpath Road, New Delhi.
The Conference will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Ji, Union Minister for Human Resource Development. The Honourable Minister said, “Under the able leadership of Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Prime Minister of India, the Government is planning to introduce a new educational policy which will focus on integrating spirituality, practicing values such as love, compassion, empathy, patience, forgiveness, justice, equality etc., having respect for fellow human beings and realizing rights and responsibilities towards the nature and environment. In view of this, the present Conference will focus to create awareness for the need of education in values, spirituality and environment.
Other dignitaries addressing the Conference include Prof. DP Singh, UGC Chairman, Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE; Mr. Ashwin Fernandes, Regional Director for QS Intelligence Unit for Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Other speakers include Major Harsh Kumar, Secretary, NCERT; Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, VC, JNU, Delhi; Prof. SP Singh, VC, Lucknow University, Lucknow (UP); Prof. Ramesh Goyal, VC, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University, Delhi; Prof. Prafulla Kumar Mishra, Chancellor, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Samastipur (Bihar); Prof. S.P. Melkeri, VC, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga (KT); Dr. Madhukar Maruti Waware, Deputy Director, AICTE and others.
A special session will be conducted by TV Icon, BK Shivani of ‘Awakening with Brahma Kumaris’ fame. The organizing Secretary, Dr. BK Mruthyunjaya, Chairperson of Education Wing, Brahma Kumaris Mount Abu said, “Value-Based Education is the need of the hour. A New Education Policy needs to be brought in place where education is integrated with Values, Yoga and Meditation for spiritual, mental and physical well-being of students and to ensure a brighter future for India.
Spiritual Leaders and senior Rajyogis like BK Brij Mohan Bhai, BK Shukla Didi, BK Asha Behn, BK Chakradhari and BK Pushpa will also share their spiritual wisdom and suggest plan for New Education Policy.
