Agra (UP): The GIC Ground of Agra Zone in Panchkuian, celebrated National Farmers Day. On this occasion, scientific discussions, farmers’ fair and exhibition were held. Brahma Kumaris were also invited at this event.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Uday Bhan Singh, Minister of State for MSME, Export Promotion, Textile, Handloom and Resham in Government of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Girraj Singh Dharmesh, Minister of State UP Govt., Mr. S.P. Singh Baghel, MP Rajya Sabha from Agra, Mr. Rajkumar Chahar, MP Lok Sabha from Fatehpur Sikri, Chief Development Officer Agra, Ms. J.Reebha, Mr. Mahesh Chand Goyal, MLA Kheragarh, Mr. Rampratap Singh Chauhan, MLA Etmadpur and many other prominent citizens of the area were present on this occasion.
BK Shashi, Rural wing co-ordinator of Brahma Kumaris in Agra Sub Zone, while addressing the farmers, said that the farmer is the pride of our country and symbolic of sacrifice and hard work. Increased use of chemicals in agriculture is harming the health of people. She urged farmers to take up sustainable yogic farming as it decreases input, increases output and shelf life of the product as well as gives mental peace to the farmer. She also felicitated the assembled guests with Godly Gifts.
Honorable Minister Chaudhary Uday Bhan Singh, in his address said that the farmer can supplement his income by small and medium enterprises. He thanked the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris in promoting best farming through Sustainable Yogic Farming.
MP Fatehpur Sikri, Rajkumar Chahar said that a booklet containing information on all government schemes for farmers should be distributed in all villages.
MLA Etmadpur, Ram Pratap Singh appealed to all administrative officers to co-operate in directing all help to reach the farmers.
Former Agriculture Director, Mahendra Singh, while remembering Chaudhary Charan Singh, said that he was the hero of the farmers. He invited the Brahma Kumaris to visit farmers’ conferences in the villages.

ब्रहमाकुमारी शशी बहिन ने किसानों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि किसान देश की शान है त्याग तपस्या का दूसरा नाम है! किसान देश के अर्थ व्यवस्था के रीढ़ की हड्डी है! आज खेती में उपयोग किये जा रहे रासायनिक खादों से सभी का स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ता जा रहा है उन्होंने किसानों को जैविक यौगिक खेती करने के लिए प्रेरित किया जैविक यौगिक खेती के लाभ बताते हुए कहा कि इससे खेती की लागत कम होगी और आय बढ़ेगी फसल स्वास्थ्यवर्धक होगी तथा राजयोग के प्रयोग से मानसिक शांति मिलेगी व्यसनों बुरी आदतों से मुक्त होकर किसान का जीवन भी सुख से , शान से जीने वाला होगा तभी सही मायने में सार्थक होगा राष्ट्रीय किसान दिवस! तथा सभी अतिथियों को ईश्वरीय सौगात देकर उनका सम्मान किया!
माननीय राज्य मंत्री श्री चौधरी उदयभान सिंह जी ने अपने उद्वोधन में कहा कि किसान खेती के साथ-2 फ्री समय में छोटे-2 उघोगो से अपना आय स्तर बढ़ा सकता है! उन्होंने ब्रहमाकुमारीज का जैविक योगिक खेती द्वारा उत्तम खेती के सहयोग के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया!
विधायक एतमादपुर श्री राम प्रताप सिंह जी ने कहा कि सरकार से मिलने वाली मदद सीधे किसानों तक पहुचे सभी अधिकारीगण से सहयोग की अपेक्षा की!
माननीय सांसद फतेहपुर सीकरी श्री राजकुमार चाह ने कहा कि सरकारी नीतियों की एक बुकलेट तैयार की जाये तथा सभी गाँवों में उसका वितरण हो !
उप कृषि निदेशक श्री महेंद्र सिंह जी ने चौधरी चरण सिंह जी की जयंती पर उनकी विशेषताओं को याद करते हुए कहा की वो किसानों के नायक थे! तथा उन्होंने ब्रहमाकुमारीज को गाँवों की किसान गोष्ठी में आने का आमंत्रण दिया!
