Mt Abu/Abu Road: A ‘Commemoration Ceremony for the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation’ was held Brahma Kumaris world Headquarters in Shantivan, Abu Road. This grand occasion was graced by the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, General Bipin Rawat and his wife Mrs. Madhulika Rawat, Head of Army Wives Welfare Association.
Gen. Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Army Staff began his speech by acknowledging the contribution to peace done by the spiritual army of Brahma Kumaris. He thanked the efforts being done by the security wing of Brahma Kumaris in maintaining the mental and spiritual well being of soldiers. He further dwelt upon the not so promising world security scenario and pointed the role that Brahma Kumaris can play in combating national security challenges like Terrorism and Maoist violence. He said that patriotism is not a mean feat and service to mother and motherland is equal to heaven.
Gen. Rawat was speaking at the Diamond Hall of Brahma Kumaris HQ having more than 20,000 audience present from all over India and the world.
BK Brijmohan, Additional Secretary General of Brahma Kumaris in his address said that the presence of Gen. Rawat acts as a morale booster for all Brahma Kumars and Kumaris. He pledged support on behalf of BK organization for the Indian Army in both war and peace.
Rajyogini Dadi Ratanmohini, Joint Chief of the Brahma Kumaris thanked Gen. Rawat and said that if everyone remembers that we are all children of the same supreme God and hence brothers and sisters, then peace would be a natural consequence.
BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris reminded the army chief of the long association of his late father Lt. Gen. Lakshman Singh Rawat with the BK fraternity. He apprised the General of the peacekeeping efforts being done by the 20 special wings of Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation in association with Brahma Kumaris.
At the end everyone joined together to pay homage to the Indian Soldiers and celebrate this unique coming together of two armies, national army and the spiritual army.
General Rawat also had a wonderful meeting with Dadi Janki, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris and visited the Brahma Kumaris campuses – Pandav Bhawan and Gyan Sarovar in Mount Abu, where he was welcomed and honored by Senior Rajayogis.
The event started with the song ‘Vishwa Rakshak ke watan mein rashtriya rakshak aye hain‘(Protector of the nation has come to the land of the Protector of the world) by Madhurvani group led by BK Satish which was followed by a beautiful dance performance by Akanksha and Shreya on the song ‘Jaha daal daal par sone ki chidiya karti hai basera vo bharat desh hai mera‘(Where golden birds perch on each and every branch, That’s my beloved India, that’s my beloved India!).
भारतीय सेना और ब्रह्माकुमारीज में समानता, दोनों फैलाती है अमन-शांति का संदेश – सेनाध्यक्ष
मां और मातृभूमि की सेवा यानी स्वर्ग की प्राप्ति होना – सेनाध्यक्ष
आबू रोड, 30 दिसम्बर, निसं। आंतकवाद और नस्लवाद से लडऩे के लिए देश की सेना हमेशा तत्पर है। देश में अमन-शांति की स्थापना करने के लिए हमारी सेना सीमा पर जिस तरह से कार्यवाही करती है ठीक उसी तरह अमन और चैन के लिए ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था एक ही लक्ष्य के साथ कार्यरत रहती है। मैं ऐसा मानता हूं कि हमारी देश के जवान और ब्रह्माकुमारीज में यही सबसे बड़ी समानता है कि दोनों देश में शांति का संदेश देने की कोशिश कर रही है। उक्त विचार भारतीय सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल बिपिन रावत ने ब्रहमाकुमारीज की ओर से आयोजित शहीदों के स्मरणोत्सव में कहीं।
उन्होंने जवानों की तत्परता और सेना के लक्ष्य को दोहराते हुए कहा कि मां और मातृभूमि की सेवा करना यानी स्वर्ग की प्राप्ति होना। हर किसी को ऐसा सौभाग्य नहीं मिलता है। उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज के लक्ष्य को यूनाइटेड नेशन ने भी सराहा है और मैसेंजर ऑफ पीस के सम्मान से नवाजा है। ऐसे में सेना और ब्रह्माकुमारीज दोनों को हाथ मिलाकर चलना चाहिए। यही नहीं उन्होंने संस्था से इस शांति के दीए को देश में रौशन करने के लिए कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर चलने की भी गुहार लगाई है।
संस्था की संयुक्त मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी रतनमोहिनी ने कहा कि हमारा देश हमेशा से शांति का पक्षधर रहा है। हमारे देश में ही शांति और सौहाद्र की हमेशा बात की जाती है ताकि पूरे विश्व में अमन चैन बन सके। ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बीके बृजमोहन ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान हमेशा शांति के लिए कार्य कर रहा है। ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान सेना के साथ हमेशा हर कार्य में तैयार है। इस मौके पर ब्रह्माकुमारीज के कार्यकारी सचिव बीके मृत्युंजय ने कहा, आज का दिन शहीदों को समर्पित है। जो देश की रक्षा के लिए अपनी जान गंवाने पर भी एक बार नहीं सोचते। देश कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित रहीं।
दादी जानकी से की मुलाकात: कार्यक्रम के प्रश्चात सेनाध्यक्ष ने संस्था प्रमुख राजयेागिनी दादी जानकी से मुलाकात कर कुशलक्षेम पूछी तथा काफी देर तक चर्चा की। जिसपर दादी ने विश्व शंाति के लिए प्रेरित किया।
शहीद विधवा को किया सम्मानित: कार्यक्रम के दौरान जीरावल के शहीद चेताराम की पत्नी अमिया देवी को शॉल और मोमेंटों भेंटकर सम्मानित किया।
हवाई पट्टी पर इन्होंने की आगवानी: 11 बजकर 15 मिनटर पर वे मानपुर हवाई पटटी पर पहुंचे। वहॉं सेना के अधिकारियों तथा ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के सूचना निदेशक बीके करूणा, बीके भरत, बीके मृत्युंजय, बीके बनारसी ने स्वागत किया।
