Mount Abu / Abu Road, July 19, 2017: The month of Shravan (Holiest Month in the Hindu Calendar) is associated to the Bholanath God Father Shiva. It is taken for granted that the Supreme Soul Shiva gets delighted if one heartily worships Him. What is better than the act of accepting as one’s bridegroom in the month of Shravan? This act happened when 300 young B K sisters from various parts of India handed over the strings of their life to God Shiva and surrendered themselves to the Brahma Kumaris Institution.
In this occasion, their parents and relatives also were present. Addressing thousands of participants in this occasion, Dadi Ratan Mohini, Joint Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, said, ”the life in this birth is the best of the lives in all other births. One in whose life God Himself resides, becomes free from all evils. It is great virtue to surrender one’s life in order in order to do Godly services with body, mind and wealth”.
B K Munni, Program Manager, Brahma Kumaris, addressed the surrendered sisters, saying, “Be good and great by inculcating the divine values in life and also be the source of inspiration for others”.
B K Nirwair, General Secretary, Brahma Kumaris, said,” our sisters have showed that if women wish they can change the world, eradicate any dogmatic rites and evil tendencies. These will be successful in changing the society by doing their positive self- transformation”.
B K Brijmohan, Addl. Secretary, B K Mrutyunjay, Executive Secretary, B K Bhupal, Manager of Shantivan, B K Amirchand along with many others expressed their thoughts on the occasion.
What is Surrender?
Those sisters get surrendered, who, after coming in contact with the Brahma Kumaris Institution, observe completely all rules and regulations and practice Rajyoga meditation as trainees. In this act of their surrender ceremony, all rites of divine marriage are observed.
After their surrender, the sisters go to different B K Centres spread throughout the country. By staying there they improve their lives and engage themselves in the service of others. The B K Institution take their full responsibilities.
During the ceremony, they were decorated with yellow head-dresses and were welcomed with the music of band party. They were also made to take the oath to stick to their aims and objectives and to perform the best actions, so that they can be successful in achieving their aims.

सावन में शिव की हो गयी तीन सौ युवा बहनें, समर्पण समारोह में अभिभावक भी उपस्थित
आबू रोड, 19 जुलाई, निसं। सावन मास परमात्मा भोलेनाथ शिव का मास माना जाता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि परमात्मा शिव की दिल से पूजा अराधना करने से सहज ही प्रसन्न हो जाते है। परन्तु यदि सावन मास में जब परमात्मा शिव को ही अपना वर बना ले तो इससे अच्छा और क्या हो सकता है। ऐसा ही कुछ हुआ ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के शांतिवन में जब देश के कोने कोने से आयी तीन सौ युवा बहनें अपने जीवन की डोर परमात्मा शिव को सौंपकर संस्थान में समर्पित हो गयी। इस अवसर पर उनके माता पिता और नाते रिश्तेदार भी उपस्थित थे।
इस कार्यक्रम में आये हजारों लोगों को सम्बोधित करते हुए ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था की संयुक्त मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी रतनमोहिनी ने कह कि यह जीवन कई जन्मों से उत्तम है। जिसके जीवन में स्वयं परमात्मा का वास हो जाता है वह हमेशा के लिए बुराईयों से मुक्त हो जाता है। परमात्मा की तन मन धन से सेवा करने के लिए आजीवन समर्पित होना महान पुण्य का कार्य है।
कार्यक्रम में कार्यक्रम प्रबन्धिका बीके मुन्नी युवा बहनों से आह्वान किया कि वे जीवन में उच्च आदर्श मूल्यों को धारण कर महान बने और दूसरों के लिए प्रेरणादायी बनें।
इस अवसर पर संस्था के महासचिव बीके निर्वेर ने कहा कि हमारी बहनों ने यह सिद्ध कर दिया है कि यदि नारी चाहे तो विश्व को बदल सकती है। किसी भी कुरीति और बुराईयों को समाप्त कर सकती है। ये बहनें खुद का सकारात्मक बदलाव करते हुए समाज का बदलने में कामयाब होगी।
संस्थान के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बीके बृजमोहन, कार्यकारी सचिव बीके मृत्युंजय, शांतिवन प्रबन्धक बीके भूपाल, बीके अमीरचन्द समेत कई लोगों ने अपने अपने विचार व्यक्त किये।
ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के सम्पर्क में आने के बाद कम से कम पांच साल तक प्रशिक्षु के तौर पर राजयोग मेडिटेशन के साथ संस्था की नियमों पर सम्पूर्ण रूप से चलने वाली बहनों का समर्पण होता है। जिसमें उनके माता पिता की भी सहमति होती है। इसके लिए पूरी तरह से शादी की अलौकिक रस्में निभायी जाती है।
सेवा स्थानों पर होता है स्थानान्तरण: समर्पण के बाद पूरी संस्थान देशभर में फैले सेवाकेन्द्रों पर चली जाती है। वहॉं रहकर जीवन की तरक्की करते हुए दूसरों की सेवा में तत्पर रहती है। उनकी सम्पूर्ण जिम्मेदारी संस्थान की होती है।
भव्य स्वागत: इस समारोह के दौरान बैंड बाजों तथा उन्हें पीली चुन्नियों मेें सजाकर उनका भव्य स्वागत किया गया। जिसमें उनके माता पिता तथा परिवार के लोग भी शरीक हुए।
शपथ समारोह: कार्यक्रम के बीच समर्पण के दौरान समर्पित होने वाली बहनों को अपने लक्ष्य और अपने श्रेष्ठ कर्म लिए उनसे प्रतिज्ञा करायी जाती है। जिससे की वे अपने लक्ष्य में कामयाब हो सके।
