Two-Day Conference-cum-Retreat for IT Professionals Concludes

Gurugram (Delhi NCR) , July, 23: A two-day Conference-cum-Retreat for IT Professionals on “Inner Technology for Peace & Happiness” organised by the IT Wing of Brahma Kumaris organization at its Omshanti Retreat Centre, Pataudi Road, concluded here today.

Addressing the Valedictory Session as Chief Guest Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for IT, Law & Justice, Govt. of India said that information and data communication through internet technology have virtually turned the world into a global village.

“It is the IT power combined with moral and spiritual strength that can abridge the great digital divide and can bridge the virtual with the real world by ensuring digital equality and by enhancing internet reach and accessibility the world over”, he stressed.

He said that while IT has achieved ‘one digital world’ without division, India’s ancient spiritual wisdom, value system and Rajyoga meditation can unify the entire humankind with much needed spirit of love, peaceful co-existence and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and can lead the world towards sustainable development. For this, the integration of science with spirituality is the need of the hour, he further emphasised.

On this occasion, he launched an All India Digital Awareness Campaign to be carried out by the IT Wing of Brahma Kumaris in line with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of digital india, to promote digital literacy, reach and accessibility across the country.

He also urged the august gathering of over twelve hundred IT professionals from all over India to strengthen their mind, morals, spirit and respective IT platforms with spiritual teachings & trainings of organization like Brahma Kumaris, in order to achieve excellence not only in their personal, professional and public life but also to make India a digital and spiritual superpower in the world.

In this regard, he assured them that the government will act as a friend or guide, but not as a guardian or controller.

Echoing the sentiments of Minister, TCS Vice President Mr. Tanmay Chakravarty as Guest of Honour on the occasion, said that by combining moral and spiritual values in IT professions, we can usher into a golden era of better life and society on earth, soon.

Motivational Speaker Brahma Kumari Shivani speaking on the topic said that not mere external resources and comforts but our quality of thinking, attitude and behavior empowered by spiritual values and meditation can provide us true and lasting peace and happiness.

Rajyogini B K Asha, Director, Omshanti Retreat Centre, exhorted the participants to realize their inner powers, potentiality and speciality through spiritual practices to excel in their life and profession.

B K Yashwant, IT Wing Coordinator of Brahma Kumaris from Mount Abu, appraised the audience of the Wing’s activities and achievements in IT Sector.

भारत पर अनेक विदेशी शासकों ने राज्य किया परन्तु भारत सदा ही अपनी आध्यात्मिकता के बल पर खड़ा रहा है और हमेशा रहेगा। उपरोक्त विचार माननीय रवि शंकर प्रसाद, केन्द्रीय मंत्री, आइटी और कानून एवं न्याय मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के भोड़ाकलां स्थित ओम् शान्ति रिट्रीट सेन्टर में आइटी क्षेत्र से जुड़े लोगों के लिए दो दिवसीय सम्मलेन के समापन सत्र में शान्ति और खुशी के लिए आन्तरिक तकनीकी विषय पर व्य1त किए। इस अवसर उन्होंने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के द्वारा डिज़ीटल लेन-देन जागरूकता अभियान के तहत एक अप्प्स् का

शुभारम्भ किया।

उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था समूचे विश्व में सार्थक बदलाव के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सरकार का मुख्य उद्देश्य सूचना तकनीकी को सभी लोगों तक पहुंचाना है। डिज़ीटल समानता लानी है। तकनीकी के माध्यम से हम भारत के आध्यात्मिक एवं नैतिक मूल्यों का सारे विश्व में संचार कर एक नई क्रान्ति ला सकते हैं। माननीय मंत्री जी ने कहा कि आज विश्व के ८० देशों के २०० शहरों में हमारी आइटी कम्पनीज कार्य कर रही हैं। जिसमें ४० लाख लोग कार्य कर रहे हैं, उसमें भी एक तिहाई से भी अधिक महिलाएं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि योग ही मानव को सम्पूर्ण मानव बनाता है। वर्तमान समय विज्ञान, दर्शन एवं आध्यात्म का सन्तुलन बहुत जरूरी है।

इस अवसर पर टीसीएस के उपाध्यक्ष तन्मय चक्रबर्ती ने भी कार्यक्रम के प्रति अपने विचार व्य1त करते हुए कहा कि अगर हम आइटी के साथ आध्यात्मिक एवं नैतिक मूल्यों को भी जोड़ दें, तो जल्दी ही स्वर्णिम दुनिया की झलक देखने को मिलेगी।

संस्था की सुप्रसिद्ध मोटीवेशनल वक्ता बीø केø शिवानी ने कहा कि आइटी से जुड़े लोगों के लिए योग बहुत जरूरी है। उसके लिए हर स्थान पर योग के लिए एक छोटा-सा कमरा हो,जहाँ पर शान्ति की अनुभूति कर सकें। अगर हम थोड़ा समय भी स्वयं को आध्यात्मिक श1ित से जोडेंगे तो कार्य करने में भी एक नवीनता का अनुभव होगा।

ओआरसी की निदेशिका आशा दीदी ने बताया कि हम अपनी कमजोरियों का चिन्तन करने के बजाए, अपनी विशेषताओं को बढ़ाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम दूसरों को कन्ट्रोल नहीं कर सकते, स्वयं को ही कन्ट्रोल कर सकते हैं। स्वयं को कन्ट्रोल करने के लिए हमें अपनी आन्तरिक तकनीकी को पहचानना होगा।

इस अवसर विशेष रूप से माउन्ट आबू से आए बीø केø यशवन्त ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ द्वारा आइटी के क्षेत्र में की जा रही सेवाओं की जानकारी दी। दो दिन तक चले कार्यक्रम में आध्यात्मिक विषय पर अनेक अनुभवी व1ताओं ने अपने विचार रखे। साथ-साथ अनेक कार्यशालाओं का भी आयोजन किया गया। राजयोग के विशेष अ5यास के द्वारा भी सभी ने गहन शान्ति एवं खुशी का अनुभव किया। कार्यक्रम में १२०० से भी अधिक लोगों ने शिरकत की। कार्यक्रम का संचालन दिल्ली से आई बीø केø कमला ने किया।
