Agriculture & Rural Development Conference Inaugurated at Mount Abu

Mount Abu: A 3-Day Agriculture & Rural Development National Conference on the topic “Light of Knowledge and Science, Traditional Farming and Development” was inaugurated at Gyan Sarovar Academy, Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu.

Sadabhau Khot, Minister of State for Agricultural, Horticulture and Marketing, Maharashtra Government inaugurated the Conference and said, “The efforts of Brahma Kumaris to encourage farmers to adopt new Yogic Farming simultaneously with Organic Farming is commendable. Today many wonderful facts were given to the audience from this platform”. He said, “Today the farmers are suffering mainly due to the society and the politicians. At the time of independence 80% of Indian population were farmers, organic farming was prevalent but the hunger of all the 40 crores could not be satisfied. Where as today 120 crores are satisfied but the farmer is not able to live even like a peon. So first of all we must think and do something to improve their living conditions and save them from committing suicides.

Rajyogini BK Nirmala, Director of Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu said in her speech that in the following three days they will learn the ways to improve the condition of the farmers and about the benefits of Yogic Farming. Advantages of Yogic Farming is known to Indian farmers since long but they are not aware that Yogic Cultivation can bring all round progress in their lives. In this method vibrations of positive thoughts are spread on the crops that can yield high quality farm products that can give us good health and can purify our minds as well.

Rajyogini BK Sarala, Chairperson, Agriculture and Rural Development Wing, Mehsana said, “Yogic Cultivation is the only way to make India clean and golden. We will teach and train you all regarding Yogic Farming. Today to eliminate violence from the society is very essential. No farmer will commit suicide after getting the knowledge and training in cultivating through Yoga.

Santosh Jain, Vice President, Gopalan and Animal Husbandry Board of Madhya Pradesh said “Cows’ food is in fields and the resources for the fields are with the cows. Gokul village cannot be there without cows. So Organic and Yogic farming is the only remedy for India’s progress. For this the activities of Brahma Kumaris are duly praiseworthy”.

BK Karuna, Chairperson of Media Wing, Brahma Kumaris Head Quarters, Mt Abu said on this occasion, “We must all pay due attention to the Law of Action or Karma – Farming of Actions. At this Spiritual School the secret ways of cultivating the fruits of excellent actions are taught. To know and perform such supreme activities, practice of Raja Yoga is very essential. Every village must have atleast one family practicing Raja Yoga by which success will follow there after”.

A.K. Mishra, Chancellor, G. V. Panth Agricultural University said, “Today the field of agriculture has progressed very wonderfully but farmers condition is deteriorating simultaneously. Unless we bring improvement in their lives the world will never become a Gokul village. If the farmers are taught the value addition to their farm products their condition will be better”.

Rajyogi BK Raju, Vice Chairperson of Agriculture and Rural Development Wing at the Head Quarters, Mt Abu welcomed all the guests and the delegates of the day.

Rajyogini BK Sunanda, National Co-ordinator of Agriculture and Rural Development Wing, Kolhapur said, “Knowledge itself is light and might but we also believe that today’s man is distracted in darkness of ignorance and wants to come out of it. People are praying God to give them the light of knowledge. What is that true knowledge? That’s Raja Yoga meditation. It is Science, Serenity and Silence. By that mental aberrations will vanish and situations will improve.

Badri Vishal Tiwari, Asst. Director, Agricultural Directorate, Govt. of UP, Lucknow, stated as a Main Speaker of the occasion about traditional farming and said, “Balaram and Krishna are the role model of agriculture and animal husbandry. In their period everything was very beautiful but the farming with chemical fertilizers changed everything in our country. When we compare the present situation with that in 1951, the consumption of chemicals in farming has gone up by 150% . That is alarming for health as a result sickness and diseases have increased. Moreover that is being bought from abroad at a very high cost which is causing heavy loss of foreign exchange. Otherwise it could have been very useful for developing our society. The remedial answer for all this is once again we must re-adopt our ancient way of organic cultivation. By this mental pollution will get erased. Research must be conducted more in this aspect.

Rajyogini BK Trupti, National Co-ordinater, Agriculture and Rural Development Wing, Surat also addressed the gathering. BK Gita from Bhinmal presided the inaugural function. BK Geeta, Rajyoga Teacher, Bhinmal also addressed the conference.

ज्ञान सरोवर में ग्राम विकास राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन आरंभ

माउंट आबू, ३० जून। प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय के ज्ञान सरोवर अकादमी परिसर में ग्राम विकास सेवा प्रभाग के बैनर तले ज्ञान विज्ञान का प्रकाश विषय पर तीन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का अतिथियों ने दीप प्रज्जवल के साथ शुभारंभ किया।

सम्मेलन के उदघाटन सत्र को संबोधित करते हुए महाराष्ट्र कृषि राज्यमंत्री सदाभाऊ खोते ने कहा कि किसानों को योगिक खेती का प्रशिक्षण देना समय और परिस्थितियों की बलवती मांग है। अन्नदाता किसानों की राष्ट्र विकास में अहम भूमिका होती है। किसानों की हालत को बेहतर बनाने के लिए राजनीतिज्ञों के साथ ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्थान के संगठित प्रयासों की जरूरत है। जैविक खेती के साथ यौगिक खेती को स्थापित करने के लिए ब्रह्माकुमारी संगठन द्वारा जो प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है उसके सार्थक परिणाम सामने आये हैं। इस प्रशिक्षण से किसान आत्महत्या करने की बजाय अपनी मेहनत का पर्याप्त मुनाफा कमाने में सक्षम होगा।

मध्यप्रदेश गोपालन व पशुसंवर्धन बोर्ड उपाध्यक्ष संतोष जोशी ने कहा कि किसानों की समस्याओं के स्थायी समाधान के लिए उन्हें जैविक के साथ योगिक खेती के प्रयोग करने चाहिए। इसके लिए ब्रह्माकुमारी संगठन गत लंबे समय से गांव-गांव जाकर भगीरथ कार्य रहा है।

ज्ञान सरोवर निदेशिका राजयोगिनी डॉ. निर्मला ने कहा कि यौगिक खेती जीवन को प्रकाशित कर देती है। योग में रह कर सकारात्मक विचारों के प्रसारण से फसल उत्तम गुणवत्ता की होती है।

उत्तर प्रदेश लखनऊ कृषि निदेशालय सहायक निदेशक बीके बदरी विशाल ने कहा कि रसायन की अधिकता से बीमारियां बढ़ती जा रही हैं। १९५१ की तुलना में आज १५० गुणा रासायनिक खादों का उपयोग हो रहा है। इसके स्थायी समाधान को फिर से परम्परागत खेती को अपनाना होगा।

ग्राम सेवा प्रभाग अध्यक्षा बीके सरला बहन ने कहा कि योगिक खेती का प्रशिक्षण लेने के बाद किसानों को बेहतर परिणाम मिल रहे हैं। योगिक खेती को सीख लेने के बाद कोई भी किसान आत्महत्या नहीं करेगा।

मीडिया प्रभाग अध्यक्ष बीके करूणा ने कहा कि आध्यात्मिक उत्तम कर्मो की खेती करने में सहायक है जो प्रतिकूल परिस्थितियों में भी मानसिक स्तर को मजबूत रखती है।

पंतनगर जीबीपीयूएटी कुलपति डॉ. ए.के. मिश्रा ने कहा कि जहां कृषि के क्षेत्र में अद्भुत प्रगति हुई है वहीं किसानों की हालत खराब होती जा रही है। किसानों को उनके उत्पाद पर वैल्यू एडिशन सिखा दिया जाए तो उनकी हालत सुधर जायेगी।

प्रभाग उपाध्यक्ष बीके राजेंद्र प्रसाद, राष्ट्रीय संयोजिका बीके सुनंदा बहन, राष्ट्रीय संयोजिका बीके तृप्ति बहन, राजयोग प्रशिक्षिका बीके गीता बहन ने भी विचार व्यक्त किए।
