Brahma Kumaris Chief, Dadi Janki Inaugurates Vishwa Shanti Sarovar Retreat Center in Nagpur

Nagpur (MH), 22nd Sept: Rajyogini Dadi Janki, the Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris who is 103-year-old and known for the most stable mind in the universe, inaugurated the huge campus of Vishwa Shanti Sarovar, the new spiritual retreat centre, near Jamtha stadium on Wardha Road. in the city.

Dadi Janki told, “Many of us experience a persistent restlessness inside. The cure for this restlessness is the virtue of being patient. Tell your mind, “Have patience, mind.” Patience can be said to be the main virtue. Whilst sitting, walking and talking, check to see if you are maintaining patience as you are moving along. If you have even a trace of anger or irritation, you spoil your inner state. Give regard to your own self by not allowing yourself to become angry. Become very sweet. In fact, it is remembrance of God that will take care of your anger and make you very sweet.”

Mr Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation in the Government of India took blessings from Dadi Janki, during the inauguration of Vishwa Shanti Sarovar Retreat Center in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Chandrashekhar K. Bawankule Minister for Ministry of Energy, New and Renewable Energy Maharashtra and Nagpur Guardian Minister; Mrs. Nanda Jichkar, Mayor and around 15000 people were also present during the grand occasion.

Vishwa Shanti Sarovar in city is the beautiful spiritual retreat centre to transform human beings in terms of peace, patience and harmony. Talking to The Hitavada at the campus of Vishwa Shanti Sarovar, BK Rajni Didi, the Director of Nagpur centre said, “Entire Vidarbha region had number of centres of Brahma Kumaris. Nagpur city has 12 centres while all 11 districts and 120 tehsils in Vidarbha are on the map of Brahma Kumaris.

She further said “The total construction of Vishwa Shanti Sarovar is 1,11,500 sq ft. The entire campus will have a huge conference hall of capacity of 3,000 persons, a small conference with a capacity 1,000 persons and some small meeting rooms for small conferences or courses having capacity of 100 to 500 persons. The residential complex having 56 well furnished rooms, some dormitories, meditation rooms, kitchen halls, dining halls etc. Different courses offered by Brahma Kumaris at its head quarter in Mount Abu will be conducted in this campus and followers from Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will have an opportunity to attend the workshops, seminars, Raj Yoga camps in Vishwa Shanti Sarovar campus in city.”

“The main building has a huge hall which can accommodate around 3,500 people. Another hall on the ground floor has a capacity of 600 people. The centre also has a residential block where around 150 guests can stay. There is an auditorium, meditation room, art gallery, laser show room, library, seminar hall and much more to provide efficient training to the students.” stated BK Rajni.
