His Excellency the President of India Hon’ble Pranab Mukherjee visited Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar Retreat Centre, Hyderabad, India and greeted Brahma Kumaris organisation for their global services in spreading Peace and Harmony. He also participated in the lighting of lamps on the occasion of Brahma Kumaris completing 80 years.
After fondly been felicitated by Brahma Kumaris, His Excellency President of India said that Brahma Kumaris is an organisation of International repute and has high level network all over the world. The basic objective of this organisation is to give Peace, Harmony and Cordiality between Man to Man, Woman to Man and Sister to Brother. This is the ultimate objective of everyone. Human Being seeks economic growth, scientific pursuits, technological developments etc. for happiness. This is recognised all over the world and as a result every year International Organisations observe to achieve this. Happiness and Peace are closely interlinked and which are essential. We are always appreciative of the great work rendered by Brahma Kumaris and have deep respect for them.
Sister BK Asha, Director of ORC, Brahma Kumaris, Delhi welcomed His Excellency and the Dignitaries. She introduced the organization to the Honourable President of India and also briefed him on various activities and services rendered to the society all over the world.
