HP Governor Praises Efforts of Brahma Kumaris for De-addiction in Rural Areas

Sunni (Himachal Pradesh):The Brahma Kumaris of Sunni in Shimla celebrated their 4th Annual Spiritual Conference in a
grand way. It was attended by about 800 people from the surrounding 100 villages.
Rajendra Arlekar, Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh (HP), was the Chief Guest of this program. BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris; BK Shivika, HeadQuarters Coordinator of the Education Wing; BK Prakash, Senior Rajyogi from Mount Abu; and BK Surendra from Jalandhar, Punjab, were the special guests on this occasion.
Rajendra Arlekar, Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, praised the divine land of Himachal Pradesh and delivered an inspiring speech forthe audience. He said that the Brahma Kumaris sisters are walking on the path shown by Brahma Baba, the Founder Father of Brahma Kumaris,&nbsp since 1936, and showing the right path to the society. The power of India’s spirituality has paved the way for the world. This power can make us Vishwaguru again. Brahma Kumaris are making importantcontributions in this direction.
He said that spiritual power is the power of God, which inspires us to do any work. He said that India has the potential to become a Vishwaguru, but we have to re-awaken our spiritual power. He said that ‘Baba ji’ revived this power and the movement he launched today has assumed a global form. Today its centers are being operated in 140 countries.
The Governor said that there is a need to awaken the spiritual power of this country. Expressing happiness, he said that since the last few years there has been a change in the thinking of the people, which will lead us to become a Vishwa Guru. He said that our culture and tradition
has been that we have won others by changing our hearts. On the basis of these ideas, we have been winning the hearts of the people. He called upon the people to preserve this culture. He said, “We have considered the whole world as our home. We want to make the world Aryan. Arya means want to make the best. He said that ‘Baba’ also gave the same lesson to all of us. There is a need to connect the people of the society with this campaign of Baba. He appreciated the social work being done through the institute.
Members of the Organization, who have made tireless efforts forde-addiction in Sunni and its surrounding villages, deserve special praise. Honorable Governor felicitated these members with Letters of Appreciation.
BK Mruthyunjaya,  Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris, apprised the audience about the Godly services being undertaken under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ Project of Brahma Kumaris and the efforts to take many governmental schemes (plans) to the rural areas. BK Shivika held a  peaceful Rajyoga session with commentary for 5 minutes.BK Prakash gave the Welcome speech in honor of the Chief Guest and welcomed the Honorable Governor with a floral garland and a traditional cap of Himachal.He also invited the dignitary to
visit Mount Abu, the International headquarters of Brahma Kumaris. BK Shakuntala, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris in Sunni, gave the Vote of Thanks. She offered Godly gifts to the Honorable Governor. BK Surendra coordinated this program.

निर्देश पर समाज को एक सही दिशा प्रदान कर रही हैं l उन्होंने ‘बाबा’ शब्द
का विशेष दो बार प्रयोग करते हुए कहा कि सुन्नी के इर्द-गिर्द 100 गाँव तक
व्यसन मुक्त करने के पुण्य कार्य में संस्था के जिन सदस्यों ने सहयोग दिया
है वे प्रशंसा के पात्र हैं l इस अवसर पर ऐसे सेवाधारी भाई बहनों को मुख्य
अतिथि ने अपने हाथों द्वारा एक-एक प्रतिष्ठा प्रमाण पत्र भी दिया जिसकी
