Mysuru: Following by a “Peace March” for nearly around BKs, surrounding main roads of Yadavagiri center and the band set in a fascinating procession to celebrate the importance of women in the field.
Around 300 women took part in the march. The event “Women’s present day challenges and choices” was inaugurated by M.S. Bharati, Secretary, Aakashavani, Mysuru B.K. Laxmi Behan, In charge of Brahma Kumaris, Mysore subzone, Dr. K. Anantaraamu, Senior Kannada writer and thinker, Mysuru, Dr. Vimalashri, Head of Kannada Department, Sharada Vilas College, Mysuru, B.K. Ranganath. Dr. K. Anantaraamu, Senior Kannada writer and thinker, Mysuru said the need to unveil a solution to the problem facing a woman.”
“Let’s ask for a woman’s well-being and give it to women. Thanks to Brahma Kumari, who organized it.” He said. Nearly 500 people took part in this occasion. Different competitions like – Fancy dress, Singing, Games were conducted and the winners were awarded.
Rajyogini Sister BK Laxmi presented Godly gift & honored to Game winners, & Guests. On this occasion presidents of 20 various Women’s associations (Mahila sangha) were honored.
