Abu Road (RJ): Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, Governor of Jharkhand addressed the 10th Convocation Ceremony & Value Education Festival 2020 organised by the Education Wing of Brahma Kumaris.
Honorable Governor, while speaking as the Chief Guest on this occasion, appreciated this initiative of Value Education by Brahma Kumaris. She hoped that its outreach will increase and reach the grass roots level. Value Education will remind people of their spiritual responsibility and make Bharat the World teacher again. She also shared her experience of associating with the Brahma Kumaris since 2009. It gave her the inner strength needed to overcome the many difficulties that came her way and provided her spiritual fulfillment. She still practices the daily meditation and food discipline of the Brahma Kumaris in the Raj Bhawan.
Dr. BK Mruthyunjyaya, Chairperson of the Education Wing of Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu apprised the audience of the theme and objectives of this Value Education Program Festival 2020. Its theme is ‘Purification of Human Life‘. It aims to change the criminalization of mind prevailing today to divine characteristics. To change the materialistic tendencies into spiritual ones. To stop communalization of human society and give the message of universal brotherhood.
Dr. Jaideep Nigam, Director, School of Health Sciences in Yashwantrao Chavan Open University Nashik, and representing its Vice Chancellor, congratulated the degree holders. He expressed satisfaction at their tie up with RERF. He informed the audience that the whole staff of their university got trained with Brahma Kumaris in value education. He hoped this association with RERF will continue in future also, and announced new courses.
Dr. V. Selvanarayan, Controller of Examination Annamalai University, and Representing its VC, said that he feels privileged to attend this convocation. RERF is rendering pioneering services in developing Value Education curriculum. Flagship programs of Value Education are being offered to jail inmates also.
Dr. BK Pandiamani, Director of Value Education Program of Brahma Kumaris, shared the details of various courses of Value Education being run by the organization in collaboration with various universities.
BK Karuna, Chairperson of Media Wing of Brahma Kumaris, shared how the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is different than other universities. Its head is the Supreme Soul itself. It empowered women way back in 1936, as the organization itself is named after women. Value Education courses are not offered by any other university in the world today, In no other university, 20 lakh families study simultaneously everyday, Nowhere else there is a fully dedicated staff of more than 50,000 teachers and it is the only university having branches in 140 countries of the world.
BK Dr. Nirmala, Director of Gyansarovar, Brahma Kumaris Mt Abu hoped that those who learn here will share this knowledge with others as well. This will make this world a better place. Degree holders got their degrees from dignitaries including the honorable Governor. There was a beautiful candle lighting ceremony and dance sequences as well.

मानव समाज का मूल्यों से पलायन घातक-मूर्मू
ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के शिक्षा प्रभाग द्वारा आयोजित दीक्षांत समारोह में युवाओ का सम्मान
आबूरोड, 9 फरवरी, निसं। भारत का संविधान देश के बच्चों को सम्पूर्ण शिक्षा का अधिकार प्रदान करता है। समाज में जब तक मूल्य नहीं है वह सभ्य समाज नहीं बन सकता। मानव समाज का मूल्यों से पलायन घातक है। उक्त उदगार झारखण्ड की राज्यपाल द्रोपदी मूर्मू ने व्यक्त किये। वे ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के शांतिवन में शिक्षा महोत्सव के तहत आयोजित दीक्षांत समारोह में बोल रही थी।
उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय शिक्षा का इतिहास भारत के संस्कृति और सभ्यता का भी इतिहास है। प्राचीन काल की शिक्षा से भारत विश्व गुरू के रूप में प्रतिस्थापित रहा है। एक ऐसा समय था जब हमारे देश में नालन्दा जैसे शिक्षण संस्थान से पढऩे वाले छात्र मूल्यों को भी तरजीह देते थे। आज लोगों के अन्दर मूल्यों का समाप्त होना चिंताजनक है। यदि समाज में मूल्य नहीं होगे तो अच्छे समाज की परिकल्पना कठिन हो जायेगी। ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान पिछले 84 वर्षों से समाज में नैतिकता के लिए कार्य कर रहा है। इसका रिजल्ट दिख भी रहा है कि आज करीब बीस लाख से ज्यादा लोगों ने अपनी जिन्दगी पूरी तरह बदल दी है।
कार्यक्रम में यशवन्तराव चौहान मुक्त विद्यापीठ के निदेशक जयदीप निकम ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था के शिक्षा प्रभाग द्वारा जो कोर्सेस चलाये जा रहे है। इसमें बहुत सारे विषयों का समावेश है जिससे मनुष्य महान बन सकता है। आज यहॉं से मनोस्वास्थ्य तथा काउन्सलिंग पर भी नये कोर्स का शुभारम्भ करने की घोषण करता हूॅं। क्योंकि आज समाज में तेजी से मन की बीमारी फैल रही है। ज्ञान सरोवर की निदेशिका डा0 बीके निर्मला ने कहा कि यह बहुत अच्छा लग रहा है कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में युवाओं ने मूल्यों की डिग्री हासिल की है। आज जरूरत है कि ऐसी शिक्षा व्यवस्था को ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों तक पहुंचाया जाये।
शिक्षा प्रभाग के अध्यक्ष बीके मृत्युंजय ने कहा कि हमारा लक्ष्य है कि देश के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों और शिक्षण संस्थानों में मूल्यों की पढ़ाई को प्राथमिकता दी जाये। जिससे लोगों का रूझान मूल्यों की ओर बढ़े। कार्यक्रम में मीडिया प्रभाग के अध्यक्ष बीके करूणा तथा अन्नामलाई खुला विश्वविद्यालय के परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ0 सेल्वनारायण ने कहा कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगो को इससे जोडऩा ही नये भारत निर्माण में मदद करना है। कार्यक्रम के अंत में राज्यपाल ने कुछ विद्यार्थियों को डिग्री प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया।
निकाली रैली: कार्यक्रम से पूर्व दीक्षांत समारोह में भाग लेने आये युवाओं ने सजे परिधानों में रैली निकालकर मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने का संकल्प कराया।
दादी रतनमोहिनी से मुलाकात: झारखण्ड की गवर्नर द्रोपदी मूर्मू ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान की संयुक्त मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी रतनमोहिनी से मुलाकात की तथा ईश्वरीय ज्ञान चर्चा के पश्चात आशिर्वाद लिया।
अपने निवास से कार्यक्रम स्थल तक गयी पैदल: राज्यपाल द्रोपदी मूर्मू ने अपने प्रवास स्थान से कार्यक्रम स्थल कान्फ्रेस हॉल तक पैदल ही दीक्षांत सेरिमनी के परिधान में गयी।
ये रहे उपस्थित: इस समारोह के दौरान जिला कलेक्टर सुरेन्द्र सिंह सोलंकी, अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक हर्ष, माउण्ट आबू उपाधीक्षक प्रवीण कुमार, आबू रोड थाना सदर सीआई आनन्द कुमार, शहर थानाधिकारी अनिल कुमार समेत कई आला अफसर उपस्थित थे।
