New Delhi: ‘Radio Madhuban’, a community radio station operated by Brahma Kumaris, is working for the community in Mount Abu and its surrounding areas. It received three national accolades in three different categories by the Minister of Information Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar, during the 9th National Community Radio Conference being organized by the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting in New Delhi.
- In which Radio Madhuban’s program “Nanhe Stars” received “First Prize in Community Engagement Category” for the year 2018.
- The program “Apano Samaj” which is produced and broadcast by local people in Marwari language received the third prize in the category “Promoting Local Culture” for the year 2018.
- The program “Village Ri Baatein”, aired in Marwadi language, received the first prize in the “Promoting Local Culture Category” for the year 2019.
- More than 250 community radios from across the country are participating in the 9th National Community Radio Conference to be organized by Information Broadcasting, out of which 14 national awards have been awarded in five different departments for the year 2018 and 14 for the year 2019. Radio Madhuban has a total of 3 National Awards, which is more than 10 percent of the total award. In this way Radio Madhuban has illuminated the name of Brahmakumarij, Mount Abu and Rajasthan in the country.
Nanhe Sitare (Little Stars)
This program is specially designed to connect small children and school children from the surrounding rural areas. Because of not knowing the importance of education, the children of the community cannot even study. It is designed for young children to highlight their hidden potential, rural young children and children studying in school participate. On an average 50 per cent of children and teachers in about 38 villages around Abu Road The program is effectively accessible.
Apano Samaj (Yours society)
This program has been going on for the last four years. The program focuses on the information given by the local people about the prevailing customs in the society. Every society has its own customs. There is an interesting story behind the tradition of customs. The customary information about which customs, when, where and how they started, is given in the local dialect, which people like to hear with great enthusiasm. The program was designed for the community living in the villages around Aburod.
Gaon Ri Baatein (Village Things)
A radio program on Radio Madhuban, which revives the cultural identity of all these villages and their residents, started broadcasting “Gaon Ri Baatein” with this objective in mind. Due to the coverage by the program, the information of the villages was very well publicized to all the people. Patrons of the Chandravati Nagari Museum, in a conversation with Radio Madhuban, state that tourists heard the program “Gaon Ri Baat” on Radio Madhuban and after listening to this program they came to know that there is a place of historical importance in Abu Road too and they Must see Now the number of tourists is two times than before.

ब्रह्माकुमारीज के द्वारा संचालित सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशन, रेडियो मधुबन जो के माउंट आबू एवं उसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में जन समुदाय के लिए कार्यरत है. इसे केंद्रीय सूचना प्रसारण मंत्रालय के द्वारा नई दिल्ली में आयोजित हो रहे ७ वें राष्ट्रीय सामुदायिक रेडियो सम्मेलन के दौरान केंद्रीय सूचना प्रसारण मंत्री श्रीमान प्रकाश जावड़ेकर जी के द्वारा तीन अलग-अलग कैटेगरी में तीन राष्ट्रीय सम्मान प्राप्त हुए |
- जिसमें रेडियो मधुबन के कार्यक्रम “नन्हे सितारे” को वर्ष 2018 के लिए “कम्युनिटी एंगेजमेंट कैटेगरी में प्रथम पुरस्कार” प्राप्त हुआ |
- कार्यक्रम “आपणो समाज” जो मारवाड़ी भाषा में स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा निर्माण और प्रसारित किया जाता है उसे वर्ष 2018 के लिए “प्रमोटिंग लोकल कल्चर” कैटेगरी में तीसरा पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ |
- मारवाड़ी भाषा में प्रसारित कार्यक्रम “गांव री बातें” को वर्ष 2019 के लिए “प्रमोटिंग लोकल कल्चर कैटेगरी” में प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ|
सूचना प्रसारण द्वारा आयोजित होने वाले ७ वें राष्ट्रीय सामुदायिक रेडियो सम्मेलन में पूरे देश के 250 से ज्यादा सामुदायिक रेडियो भाग ले रहे हैं जिनमे से पांच अलग-अलग विभाग में वर्ष 2018 के लिए 14 एवं वर्ष 2019 के लिए 14 राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्रदान गये हैं | रेडियो मधुबन के हिस्से में कुल 3 राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार आए जो की कुल पुरस्कार के 10 प्रतिसत से ज़्यादा है | इस तरह रेडियो मधुबन ने देश में ब्रह्माकुमारीज, माउंट आबू और राजस्थान का नाम रोशन किया है |
नन्हे सितारे
यह कार्यक्रम आसपास के ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के छोटे बच्चे एवं स्कूली बच्चों को विशेष तौर पर जोड़ने के लिए तैयार किया गया है | शिक्षा का महत्व न जानने की वजह से समुदाय के बच्चे पढाई भी नहीं कर पाते हैं | यह छोटे बच्चों के लिए उनके भीतर छुपी क्षमता को उजागर करने हेतु तैयार किया गया है, ग्रामीण छोटे बच्चों तथा स्कूल में पढ़ रहे बच्चे- बच्चियाँ हिस्सा लेते हैं |आबू रोड के आसपास के करीब 38 गाँव के औसतन 50 प्रतिशत बच्चे तथा शिक्षकगण तक यह कार्यक्रम प्रभावी रूप से पहुँचा हुआ है |
आपणो समाज
आपणो समाज यह कार्यक्रम पिछले चार साल से चल रहा है| इस कार्यक्रम में समाज में प्रवर्तमान रीत रिवाज़ों के बारे में स्थानीय लोगो द्वारा दी जाने वाली जानकारी पर केंद्रित है| हर समाजकेअपने रीति रिवाज़ होते हैं | रीति रिवाज़ की परंपरा के पीछे रोचक कथा होती है | कौन सा रिवाज कब कहाँ और कैसे आरंभ हुआ, इसकी मज़ेदार जानकारी स्थानीय बोली में दी जाती है, जिसे लोग बड़े चाव से सुनना पसंद हैं| कार्यक्रम आबुरोड के आसपास के गाँव में रहने वाले समुदाय के लिए बनाया गया था |
“गाँव री बातें”
रेडियो मधुबन पर एक ऐसा रेडियो कार्यक्रम जो इन सभी गाँवों और उनके रहवासियों की सांस्कृतिक पहचान को पुनर्जीवित करे इस उद्देश्य को केंद्र मे रखते हुए “गाँव री बातें” का प्रसारण आरंभ किया गया | कार्यक्रम द्वारा कवरेज किए जाने से, गाँवों की जानकारियों का सभी लोगों तक बहुत अच्छा प्रचार प्रसार हुआ | चंद्रावती नगरी म्यूजियम के संरक्षक रेडियो मधुबन से बातचीत में बताते हैं, कि पर्यटकों ने रेडियो मधुबन पर कार्यक्रम “गाँव री बातें” को सुना और इस कार्यक्रम को सुनने के बाद में उन्हें पता चला कि आबूरोड में भी ऐतिहासिक महत्व की एक जगह है और उन्हें देखना चाहिए | अब पर्यटकों संख्या पहले की तुलना में दो गुणा है |
