Round-Table on ‘Participation of NGOs in the Development of Culture and Art’ in Moscow

Moscow: The Resource Centre of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in the North Eastern Administration District of Moscow conducted a Round-Table on Participation of NGOs in the Development of Culture and Art in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris Centre here recently.

BK Tatyana Shakhnovskaya discussed the role of the Brahma Kumaris in shaping art and culture in the development process. BK Olga Smirnova presented a project on the Literary and Musical Salon Lyra, an account of which is found in the school libraries and cultural centres.

BK Olga Obodetz introduced the pedagogical project “The Space of Inspiration: Discovering, Learning, Imbibing & Sharing”. It is an interesting journey to the world of spiritual values in which we discover the self and the culture of relationships. This project was conceived by the Centre of Social Help for children under 14 years of age.

Other participants at the Round-Table also shared the results of their activities. There was a unanimous desire by the participants to join the resources and organise the events together
