Abu Road:The Candle lighting ceremony was done by Mrs. Anita Bhadel Hon’ble State Minister, Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Rajasthan. She in her address admitted that she herself is a victim of diabetes for the last 20 years. She was concerned about the change in the lifestyle of people nowadays. Earlier sweets were used to be distributed occasionally, like on the day of getting salary every month or on special occasions. Now a day’s sweets and fruits have become a regular part of diet. This accompanied with sedentary life style is the root cause of diabetes. Nowadays in kitchen mixer grinder has replaced grinding stone and washing is done by washing machine. She warned that diabetes is a silent killer and is the root cause of a number of serious disease of heart, eyes and nervous disorders. Other dignitaries present on this occasion were Chief-Engineer Bharat Bhai, Dr. Savita Didi, Senior Rajyoga Teacher, Dr. Banarsi Lal Sah, Dr. Shrimant Sahu and Revered Dadi Ratan Mohini ji.
Dr. Banarasi Lal Sah welcomed the guests, he motivated the patients that they are the diamonds of Baba, who has been given the responsibility to make baba apparent through their life. If by observing self-control and following the disciplined way of life and exercise that will be taught to them, they are able to win over diabetes, then that will be the real show of Baba’s powers.
Dr. Shrimant Sahu explained the purpose of the project. This is a unique diabetes program which is one of its kind in the world. This research project is being done according to international standards of research with the latest scientific technology and the area of this study is limited to Gujarat only. We are taking fifty patients per month who will be followed up quarterly for a period of one year.
Dadi Ratan Mohini ji showered blessings on the patients and motivated them to observe a discipline of soul consciousness. If we can observe soul consciousness in our practical life we can also observe other disciplines in life. Dr. Gomti Agrawal Research coordinator anchored this program.
