Leh-Ladakh : Dr. B.K.Binny from Mount Abu is Honoured by World Book Of Records London as Peace Ambassador for Promoting World Peace through Spiritual Awareness and Meditation at Leh- Ladakh.
At International Conference on ”World Peace”, 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and ”Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the Himalayas” event at one of the highest altitude of Shanti Stupa at Leh- Ladakh, Dr. B.K.Binny from Mount Abu is Honoured by World Book Of Records London as Peace Ambassador for Promoting World Peace through Spiritual Awareness and Meditation. This honour is given by World Book of Records London President Shri Santosh Shukla ji (Supreme Court – Advocate ) on behalf of Virendra Sharma, MP, British Parliament England, Dr. Diwakar Sukul, Chairman, World Book Record England [UK]. Dr. B.K Binny addressed at the main inaugural session on the topic of ”Inner Peace to World Peace and conducted Peace meditation“. She also shared contributions of Brahma Kumaris for World Peace.
In this event 15 countries high delegation participated. H.E. Chutintorn Gongsakdi (High Commissioner, Royal Thai Embassy), H.E. Austin Fernando (High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in India), Shri Satya Pal Malik (Governor of Jammu & Kashmir), Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records), Ms. Deepali Shukla (VP, WBR – USA) were guests of the ceremony.
The world famous Shanti Stupa is situated at a height of 3,609 metres in Leh where the scarcity of oxygen is felt. At the region of high altitude, an International Peace conference was organizedby Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena (Founder President of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre) Leh Ladakh. First time in such unique manner for promoting World Peace 300 Buddhist monksand nuns participated in PEACE WALK from Thailand. They welcomed by Dalai Lama at Dharmshala and walked from their to Highest Peak of Ladakh for spreading the message of Peace. In this conference around 500 dignitaries participated from UK, USA, Canada, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Brunei, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Nepal and India. Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre Leh (India) also honoured by World Book of – London on being recognized by World Book of Records, London (UK).
