Guinness World Record: Largest Road Safety Class at Goregaon (E) Mumbai

Mumbai: The Guinness World Record for the Largest Road Safety Class was set on 31 January 2016 at Goregaon (E) Mumbai. The event was organised by RTO Borivali in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra and Transport Wing of Brahma Kumaris. A Cyclathon was flagged of from SRPF grounds, Goregaon (E) and a Helmet Rally was flagged off from BKC, Bandra and both rallies converged at the SRPF grounds, Goregaon (E). More than 5000 enthusiastic bikers and cyclists joined the rally and a majority of them were present at the road safety lesson and award ceremony after the drive. The Road Safety lesson at the valedictory function of the rallies was officially declared as the ‘Largest lesson in Road Safety’ by Guinness World Records. The lesson was delivered by two individuals: 1. Ravi Gaikwad, DRTO, Borivali 2. BK Divyaprabha, National Coordinator, TTW – Brahma Kumaris

Several dignitaries graced the ocassion including Subhash Desai, Minister for Industries, Maharashtra, Actor Rannvijay Singh, Actor Dinu Morea, Actor Pulkit Samrat, Singer Shaan, Singer Bhoomi Trivedi and DCP Traffic amongst others. Kindly find some photos attached.
