Delhi: The Medical Wing of RERF, Brahma Kumaris launched a state level Campaign HOLISTIC WELL BEING:A WAY OF LIFE at Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Cantt. On 24th September2019 in Delhi & NCR Region. It was a week long Campaign from 25th September-30th September2019. It successfully completed on 30th September.
As a part of this campaign, about 105 programmes, benefiting more than 8000 medical Professionals was organized in Delhi – NCR, covering all parts of Delhi and the adjoining areas including Moradabad ,Noida, Gurgaon,Bahadurgarh ,Rohtak, Sonepat, Faridabad and Hodal.
Progammes were conducted in various Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Nursing Homes, and schools.(List mentioned below)
Total Programmes during Campaign are 105
Total Medical Professionals who took benefit from the Campaign are 8,482
CONCLUDING REMARKS:
Various senior medical professionals including Medical Superintendents of various hospitals, Deans of Medical colleges Vice Presidents of companies and heads were present in many programmes conducted, spanning the whole capital region.
During sessions, the participants realized the importance of Holistic Well being. They accepted spirituality and meditation as an easy and practical tool to implement values in healthcare establishments, while handling patients, thus creating a positive impact on the healing industry as well. Beneficiaries also experienced the power of meditation through live demonstration of Rajyoga and pledged to be duty bound, loyal, honest and compassionate in all dealings and incorporate values in professional life. Value bands with various values mentioned on it was given to each participant which they wore, which shall serve as a gentle reminder of the pledge taken. This activity was received with full enthusiasm.
