Delhi: Brother BK Golo on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris and the World Renewal Spiritual Trust received the prestigious CST & Solar Cooker Excellence Award 2016 by Sri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Power, Coal & Renewable Energies (NRE), Govt. of India.
The award was given for excellence in indigenization of CST/CST components in the country
and the ceremony was part of the National Workshop on concentrating solar technology & Solar Cookers in New Delhi.
The ceremony was attend by Secretary of NRE, representatives of UNIDO/ UNDP, BK Jayasimha, BK Aneta and hundreds of delegates. This is an acknowledgement of the contribution of Brahma Kumaris / WRST towards concentrating solar technology ( CST ) in the last 20 years in India and specially the coming up India One solar power plant project.
