Mount Abu, April 5: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi appealed to the nation to come together at 9 pm for 9 minutes on Sunday to light lamps, torches and diyas to show their support in eradicating the darkness that the coronavirus has brought to the world.
In the campaign to fight the coronavirus pandemic, at the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the countryman demonstrated solidarity.
People all over the country extinguished the lights of their houses and lighted lamps, candles, and torches. PM Narendra Modi himself carried forward the resolve to fight the coronavirus by lighting a lamp.
The Members of the Brahmakumari Institution at its International Headquarters campuses at Mount Abu and Abu Road & at thousands of service centers all over India also participated in this campaign by lighting lamp.
Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Dadi Ratanmohini, Additional Administrative Head of Brahma Kumaris and Chairperson of Youth Wing, also lit the lamps and urged everyone to connect with the source of all knowledge and health, the Supreme Soul, to ensure everyone’s protection.
All the inmates along with senior members of the institution also lit lamps in front of their residence. The divine song ‘Jyoti Jagalo, Andhera Mitalo’ meaning “Wake up the flame, Erase the darkness” played during this celebration.

कोरोना की लड़ाई में पूरा देश हुआ एकजुट, सभी ने मिलकर जलाए दीये
आबूरोड, 5 अप्रैल : रविवार की रात 9 बजे पूरा देश कोरोनावायरस (Corona Virus) के खिलाफ जंग में एकजुड होकर खड़ा हो उठा. कोविड –19 (COVID-19) से जंग के खिलाफ पीएम मोदी ने देश वासियों से से ये अपील की थी कि रविवार की रात 9 बजे 9 मिनट के लिए पूरे घर की लाइट बंद करके अपने छत पर या फिर बॉलकनी में एक दीपक प्रज्जवलित करें यह चाहे दीपक हो, कैंडिल हो या फिर मोबाइल की फ्लैश लाइट हो. पीएम मोदी ने पिछले कुछ दिनों से चल रहे लॉक डाउन के बाद ऐसा करने की देशवासियों से अपील की, ताकि आप जब बालकनी या छत पर जाएं और सबके घरों में दीपक जलता हुआ देखने के बाद आप खुद को कोरोना से जंग में अकेला न समझें. पीएम के इस आह्वान को देशवासियों ने सिर माथे पर लेते हुए खूब दीपक जलाए.
इस अवसर पर इतने दीपक दिखाई दिए कि मानों ऐसा लग रहा हो कि दीपावली का त्योहार इस बार अप्रैल के महीनें में ही आ गया हो. दीपक जलाने की इस मुहिम में देशवासियों के अलावा खुद पीएम मोदी और देश के अन्य दिग्गज नेताओं ने भी बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया और अपने-अपने घरों में रात 9 बजे लाइटें बंद कर अपने घरों की बालकनियों में दीपक जलाकर पहुंच गए थे.
पीएम मोदी भी पीएमओ पर दीपक प्रज्जवलित करने आए और दीपक जलाते हुए अपनी तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट की. पीएम मोदी ने अपने आधिकारिक ट्वीटर हैंडल से दीपक जलाते हुए तस्वीरों को पोस्ट किया और लिखा ‘शुभं करोति कल्याणमारोग्यं धनसंपदा। शत्रुबुद्धि विनाशाय दीपज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तुते’.
ब्रह्मकुमारी संस्थान भी हुआ रोशन: कोरोना का अंधकार मिटाने दीपोत्सव सी जगमग
आबूरोड स्थित ब्रह्मकुमारीज संस्थान में भी 9 संकल्पों के साथ 9 मिनट तक दिए जलाए गए। इस दौरान संस्था के अतिरिक्त मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी रतन मोहिनी वरिष्ठ सदस्यों के साथ सभी लोगों ने अपने-अपने मकानों व कमरों के आगे दीप जलाए। इसके साथ ही ज्योति जगा लो, अंधेरा मिटा लो जैसे गीत भी बज उठे।
